Being Serious about Crime with Dr. Barry Latzer

Dr. Klein is a clinical and forensic psychologist. This week he sits down with renown criminologist, Dr. Barry Latzer. 

Dr. Latzer is an Emeritus Professor, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He is a member of the Doctoral and Master’s Faculties in Criminal Justice.  He has taught in the undergraduate program since 1978.  Dr. Latzer has a J.D., Fordham University School of Law and a Ph.D. in Political Science, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. 

His latest book is The Roots of Violent Crime in America: From the Gilded Age through the Great Depression (LSU Press). Forthcoming in early 2022: The Myth of Overpunishment (Republic Books). Dr. Latzer has been published in the WSJ and the National Review as well as various other news sources. 

This is an essential discussion for the American public.
